Fill your pipeline and take on more listings

As a Realtor, your income depends on a steady stream of new clients. Whether you realize it or not, the listings you represent are a statement of who you are as a Realtor. Empty, boring houses on MLS and real estate sites have a subtle, negative affect on your image when prospective clients shop for a Realtor.

Beautifully staged homes and inviting photos, on the other hand, reflect positively on you and your willingness to help your clients represent their home in the best possible manner. Staging a home does three things. First, great listing photos attract more motivated buyers that want to see that home. Second, staging creates a memorable showing and draws more and higher offers in any market. Third, it makes your clients happy and more willing to recommend you as a Realtor, adding to your pipeline of new clients.

How to work with homeowners
For occupied listings, bring in your home stager for a consultation to advise homeowners on what to declutter, how to depersonalize, and where to position furniture and accessories to open up space and make it more welcoming. For vacant homes, work with homeowners to stage the most important rooms like the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room, and master bedroom to make the home warm and inviting. At the very least, do an accessory staging to add a little flare to empty rooms.

When I get a new occupied listing, I bring Barbara in to consult with the owners to declutter, move furniture around, and transform the home to attract the broadest pool of potential buyers. The results are simply amazing! I’ve seen frustrated sellers get offers in the first week – and of course, they tell all their family and friends!
